Dredging
Removal of silt, sand and other deposits from seabeds and reservoirs, including harbour and approach-area dredging.
Marine and harbour dredging
We carry out dredging in ports, marinas and approach areas. The scope is established by considering the existing condition of the work area together with the required bed levels. Area boundaries, water depth and the characteristics of the material to be removed form the basis of the work plan.
Reservoir dredging
Our activities also include the removal of accumulated mud and sand from reservoir beds. Site access, use of the work area and the destination of the dredged material are considered when arranging the operation.
Planning the work
Available surveys and project objectives inform the choice of method, equipment and work sequence. Material removal, transfer and coordination with other site operations are considered together.
